Tonight: Ryan Torain Hype Answered?
Are you ready for some Thursday Night Football?
Tonight we will see what all the hype and talk is about. The Freak has owned Torain for 6 weeks, but feels anything can happen under this squirmy Shanahan regime….
Let’s take a look at the pros and cons to Torain’s breakout chances:
Pro’s:
- Cleveland run defense is not good
- Pittman and Hall on IR
- Selvin Young still nursing sore groin
- Compared to Terrel Davis at camp
- Elbow injury didn’t effect his conditioning
- Cutler’s explosiveness will keep Sean Jones off the block
- Thursday night games are great for breakouts
Cons:
- Shanahan is a fantasy SATAN
- Denver’s defense is SO pathetic, Browns offense will own the clock
- The hype is way too much
- Some practice squad no-name will rush for 3 TDs
- He has only been practicing for 2 weeks
- Denver lost 3 straight and might need to throw the whole second half
- Selvin Young could be fine
Oh well, either way it will be one of the side stories to follow along with Brady Quinn’s debut…
But heck, its damn nice to have football on Thursday night. Enjoy it you Freaks!!!!
